The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica (PSCI) has updated its technical regulations ahead of the 2024 season. In 2023, participants could compete in three different generations of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – version 997.2, version 991.1, version 991.2.

Starting in 2024, the PSCI will also have three generations of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, but in an updated configuration – the oldest version 997.2 was eliminated and the latest generation with the index 992 was added. How do all these versions differ from each other?

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – version 991.1
Production years – 2013-2016
Engine displacement – 3799 cm3 (naturally-aspirated flat-6)
Power – 475 PS
Torque – 440 Nm

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – version 991.2
Production years – 2017-2019
Engine displacement – 3996 cm3 (naturally-aspirated flat-6)
Power – 500 PS
Torque – 460 Nm

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – version 992
Production years – 2021-present
Engine displacement – 3996 cm3 (naturally-aspirated flat-6)
Power – 510 PS
Torque – 470 Nm

Drivers in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, depending on their category (PRO AM or AM), can compete in one of two race car configurations. Anti-lock braking system (ABS) is allowed in the AM category. ABS is not permitted in the PRO AM category. As a reminder, Hadeca Racing Team drivers, Yuriy Protasov and Oleksandr Dobik, are competing this year in the AM category in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup version 992.
