Before of round four of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, the expansion of the Hadeca Racing team has been revealed. Two Ukrainian drivers, Yury Protasov (#911) and Oleksandr Dobik (#933), were joined by Colombian Juan Pablo Vega Dieppa (#921). He has been competing in this series since the beginning of the season and in the first three rounds (six races) finished on the podium three times – two third and second positions in the Grupo 992 Classe AM standings.
On Friday there were preliminary tests on Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Test Colectivo) – only Yury Protasov took part in them and became second. On Saturday in the morning there were two free practice sessions, where maximum attention was paid to car settings. At the end of the first session, Hadeca Racing drivers took second (Juan Pablo Vega, 1:36.958), sixth (Yury Protasov, 1:37.297) and ninth (Oleksandr Dobik, 1:38.435) positions.
The second session brought a noticeable change in results – both Ukrainian drivers improved their results by at least half a second. Yury Protasov became second (1:36.777), Oleksandr Dobik moved up to eighth position (1:37.468). Juan Pablo Vega had the ninth time (1:38.352). Already traditionally, Oleksandr Dobik in both sessions became the fastest in GD class (Gentlemen Drivers).
In qualifying, the fastest of the Hadeca Racing team drivers was Yury Protasov with a time of 1:36.029 – the third position at the start of Race 1, second in the Am class. Fifth position was taken by Juan Pablo Vega (1:36.307), also fourth in Am class. Oleksandr Dobik with 1:37.829 was ninth in overall qualifying and fastest in GD class (almost three seconds advantage over his nearest rival).
