Both free practice and qualifying at the Aut\u00f3dromo Internacional do Algarve brought Hadeca Racing new individual and team records in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ib\u00e9rica series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the morning, Yury Protasov achieved first and fourth times in both free practice sessions respectively – with close lap times (1:46.782 and 1:46.705). His teammate Oleksandr Dobik constantly improved his times – in the first free practice he was ninth overall (1:50.962), and in the second free practice he had already seventh time (1:47.819, or more than three seconds faster).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Hadeca Racing drivers improved their times again in qualifying. Yury Protasov qualified third (1:45.996, or 0.709s faster than in free practice). Olexandr Dobik qualified seventh overall with a time of 1:47.381 (improving his morning result by 0.438s). These qualifying results were new records for both drivers in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ib\u00e9rica. At the previous round in Estoril, they finished qualifying in seventh and eleventh positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Protasov and Dobik took first and fourth positions in the 992 class. Plus, Dobik was the fastest in the GD (or Gentleman Driver) category with a huge advantage – his nearest rival was 3.8 seconds behind!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
