The first round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica 2024 will take place already next weekend, April 13-14, in Estoril, Portugal.
Circuito do Estoril (official name Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva) is one of the most famous motorsport race tracks in Portugal. This track has given fans many exciting races in the past, when it hosted the Grande Prémio de Portugal, a round of Formula One from 1984-1996.
After multiple modernizations, Circuito do Estoril is still one of the most spectacular circuits in Europe. Such famous parts of the circuit as the Parabolica Interior and the iconic Parabolica Ayrton Senna have remained almost unchanged. The outstanding start-finish straight, which is almost a kilometre long, has also been kept. The modern version of the Circuito do Estoril racing circuit (Grand Prix Circuit configuration) is 4182 meters long.
