Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica (PSCI) has updated its technical regulations ahead of the 2024 season. In 2023, participants could compete in three different generations of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – version 997.2, version 991.1, version 991.2.

Race weekend PSCI
Free Practice – two sessions of 40 minutes each, exploring the track, setting up the cars
Qualification – one session of 20 minutes (determines the starting grid for Race 1)
Warm Up – final practice session (20 minutes), before Race 1
Race 1 – distance 28 min.+1 lap
Race 2 – distance 28 min.+1 lap

In Race 2, the starting grid is formed according to the results of Race 1 (the top eight drivers start in reverse order)

Yuriy Protasov and Oleksandr Dobik (Hadeca Racing) will compete together in Cup for drivers (Group 992). Protasov is nominated in Trophy Drivers AM, Dobik will start in Trophy Drivers GD.

Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe (PSCSE) is a completely new series that was founded at the end of 2022. Unlike most racing series, which run from spring to autumn, PSCSE has been given a very compact calendar – the season starts in January, finishing in late February or early March. In other words, the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe fills the big winter break in most international and national racing series.

Across Spain and Portugal, the two-day events offer a total of 6 hours of track time, with a maximum of around 30 cars on the track. The challenge takes place at four prestigious tracks on the Iberian Peninsula, with one day allocated for testing and another for racing. The second day features two sprint races.

Hadeca Racing’s driver Oleksandr Dobik started in the AM Class of Club division (a separate category for amateur drivers) – his debut in GT3 cars. His best results were two ninth-place finishes at Estoril and Valencia. At the end of the season Dobik was 18th in Club division (68 points) and 14th in AM Class (37 points).
