At just 15 years old, Ivan Dobik arrived at Assen with the chance to become Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux champion in his debut season. Three races stood between him and the title – and what followed was a weekend none of us at Hadeca Racing will forget.
Changing weather conditions, intense battles and decisions that could change everything made Assen a demanding final test. Every race mattered. Every call carried consequences.

The Decision That Changed Race 2
The defining moment came before the second race. After the formation lap, Ivan noticed the track was drying. While most drivers remained on wet tyres, he made a bold decision: switch to slicks on the starting grid.
It was a gamble. Rain could return at any moment, and the wrong choice could put his championship hopes at risk. But Ivan trusted his reading of the conditions and committed to the decision.
What followed was one of the standout moments of his debut season. He fought his way to the front, chased down the leader and took a remarkable victory, keeping his title hopes alive heading into the final race.

One Final Race. Everything at Stake.
The final race brought a very different emotion. An accident and damage to the car dealt a decisive blow to our championship hopes.
But the work did not stop there. The Hadeca Racing mechanics moved quickly to repair the car, allowing Ivan to return to the track. In a difficult moment, their response showed the commitment of the people behind every race weekend.

A Debut Season to Remember
Ivan finished the season as vice-champion of Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux—an extraordinary achievement at just 15 years old, in his first season in the championship.
The disappointment of the final race was real. So was everything he had achieved along the way. Assen alone had shown his ability to read changing conditions, make a brave call under pressure and turn that decision into a victory.

For everyone at Hadeca Racing, this season will be remembered for more than the final standings. It was the beginning of a journey, with lessons and moments that Ivan and the team will carry into what comes next.
We lost the title in the final race. But we found a champion in the making.
And this is only the beginning. 🏁
